Chicago, IL, August 8, 2022 – LeHigh Acres resident and University of Illinois football defensive back Jar’Tavius ‘Quan’ Martin has officially signed a ‘name, image, likeness’ (NIL) deal with NextName which offers fans the opportunity to support him through the sale of his personal digital collectibles, also known as non-fungible tokens (NFT). The collectibles are robust media files with images, music, school logo, and playing statistics. Martin directly receives the majority of proceeds from the sale of his digital collectibles.

Martin is a senior defensive back who came to the University of Illinois from the Fort Myers, FL area where he was a three-star recruit by 247Sports and ESPN, and a two-star recruit by Rivals. His athleticism and talent have been instrumental in the defensive backfield contributing to many tackles, interceptions, pass breakups, and fumbles. He
was also #2 tackling grade among Big Ten Cornerbacks in 2021, according to Pro Football Focus.
