Waterloo’s Brooke Mosher Signs with Digital Collectibles Platform

New site allows fans to support her and other athletes

 

Brooke MosherChicago, IL, August 15, 2022 – Waterloo resident and University of Illinois volleyball setter Brooke Mosher has officially signed a ‘name, image, likeness’ (NIL) deal with NextName which offers fans the opportunity to support her through the sale of her personal digital collectibles, also known as non-fungible tokens (NFT). The collectibles are robust media file with images, music, school logo, and playing statistics. Mosher directly receives the majority of proceeds from the sale of her digital collectibles.

Mosher attended Waterloo High School where she was three-time team captain and MVP and helped lead WHS to three-straight Capital South Conference championships. She is the WHS record holder for kills, aces and second in all-time assists, and to add to her list of impressive accolades, she is a two-time MaxPreps All-American. Brooke used 2021 as a redshirt year, but the Illini look forward to seeing her on the court this coming year.
